If you’re wondering where your economic stimulus check from the IRS is, you’ll be happy to know you will soon be able to check on its current status. The IRS announced it will be launching a new online tool that will allow you to track your payment. The IRS expects to launch the tool sometime this week.

The tool to check your stimulus check status will be located here. You will be able to check your payment status, confirm whether you want to receive direct deposit or a physical check, and enter your bank account information if you haven’t received direct deposit from the IRS in the past.
At the time of writing, the tool is not live. However, there is an area on this page for non-filers to enter payment information. There’s also a link for you to update your address if you have moved since you last filed taxes (or you can click here).
