The 40th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl
Enjoy the weekend in the sweetest way at the 40th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl! There will be tasty treats from everyone from fan-favorite ice cream and frozen yogurt brands like Ben & Jerry’s, Buon! Per Te Ice Cream, Bliss Microcreamery, Gifford’s, and Hood.

Head on over to the Neponset River and the Greenway Trail with the family and enjoy the outdoors while celebrating diver communities and the beautiful natural habitats and wildlife along the river this Neponset Day! Some activities to watch out for are free canoeing and kayaking, food trucks and ice cream, a spray deck, live music, and environmental exhibits.

Kids Bike Fest
Let the kids sharpen their biking skills while exploring their community in this Kids Bike Fest! There will be two event categories for the kids regardless of their size and ability.
The first one is balance bike and scooter events. This will take them on a short ride on the Melrose High School Athletic Complex paths with optional obstacle courses. The second one is the Kids Pedal Event. This will take them through a few loops around the Melrose HS paths with obstacle courses which will include ramps, tunnels, and more.
There will also be helmet decorating activities, food trucks, and music.

Boston Kids Comics Fest
