Boston Fish Pier Seafood Festival: Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11am-6pm at the Bank of America Pavilion. Come celebrate the fishing industry in this very delicious festival that includes chef demonstrations, an oyster shucking contest, arts and crafts, and of couse seafood! Cranberry Harvest Celebration (Wareham, MA): October 6 & 7, 2012 from 10-4pm in Wareham, MA. Come enjoy this traditional New England festival with musical performances, free children rides, cooking demonstrations, crafters, and much more! 34th Annual Oktoberfest and HONK! Parade: Sunday, October 7, 2012 from noon to 6 p.m. (and rain date is scheduled for Monday) at Harvard Square in Cambridge.
