free prescription delivery

As the world enters a very uncertain time, we at Boston on Budget want to help in any way that we can. And, it looks like Walgreens and CVS do, too.

Due to recommendations to practice social distancing due to the COVID-19 virus, pharmacies Walgreens and CVS have suspended delivery costs on all eligible prescriptions.

While they will not be waiving delivery fees for household items like toilet paper and disinfectant, Walgreens and CVS are helping to lower the financial burden of those who are stuck inside during this time and still need their medications.

“The latest steps we’re taking will help ensure patients of all ages have every option available to them when it comes to filling prescriptions,” Troyen Brenn, Chief Medical Officer at CVS Health, said in a statement.

Please contact the stores directly to find out which prescriptions are eligible for delivery.

As many other brands follow suit in providing discounts for those quarantining or practicing social distancing, we at Boston on Budget will continue to share those discounts with our readers. In the meantime, remember to wash your hands and stay positive!
