Toys for Tots

I went to a great Boston Bloggers Holiday event last night and they were collecting Toys for Tots there. Naturally, as soon as I reached a point that was too far to turn around, I realized I forgot my toy, ugh.

So where can you donate to Toys for Tots in Boston this holiday season? Here’s a few places and ideas:

The City of Boston: You can donate an unwrapped, new toy to pay for your parking ticket {Ends 12/4/13} program ended 🙁

Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us Stores: Donate an unwrapped, new toy at any Toys “R” Us or Babies “R” store now through 12/8/13.  Find your nearest store.

Toys for Tots Boston Location: You can drop off Toys for Tots at 23 Dry Dock Ave on the 8th Floor from 6am to 2pm Monday-Friday.

Local Police and Fire Stations: Most local police and fire stations will also be collecting toys for tots this holiday season through December. Call or stop by your local station to check.

Sweet Cheeks Q: Bring a unwrapped toy for a needy children, and get a free bucket of biscuits through December 8, 2013.

Upper Crust: Bring a new, unwrapped toy now until Christmas and grab a free pizza slice for every toy donated!

Also, on Monday, December 9, 2013, Chili’s will donate 10% of your check to Toys for Tots when you bring this flyer with you or mention it to your server.

Select Restaurants in Boston: Donate to Anthem, City Bar, City Table, The Harp, M.J. O’Connor’s, Ned Devine’s, or Solas anytime before Thursday, December 19th.  M.J. O’Connor’s Waterfront, City Table, City Bar Back Bay or Solas will also give you a gift card when you donate a toy!

A lot of the locations wrap up with donations in Mid-December, so make sure to drop your toy on the early side if you have something to donate!

Okay, what did I miss? Do you know of any organizations, collection drives, or drop-off locations for Toys for Tots or other toy collection drives that were not mentioned?
