The mission of this organization is to deliver healing through the power of food. They deliver daily meals to those living with chronically or critically individuals at home. You can pick up a shift online to help prepare, package, and deliver meals throughout the week.
Daily Table
Give back to the entire community in a way that makes healthy eating affordable. This not-for-profit retail store brings fresh, healthy meals and products without high prices. They keep costs low by asking for volunteers. You will assist with sorting produce, preparing meals, stocking shelves, and more.
East End House
This food pantry serves anyone in the community who is in need up to two times per month. They offer fresh produce and shelf stable foods. They also offer a variety of programs like workshops and clean up days. Volunteers are needed in all of their programs, including at the Food Pantry. First, you will pre-register with an application to volunteer. Then, you will assist with inventory, storage, and food distribution. They always need help but spots tend to fill up fast around the holidays.
