The Weekend Fun post for this weekend is coming a little later today, but I wanted to highlight a fun event happening at Fenway on Saturday, 1/26/13, since registration ends today at 5pm for the tournament.
The Red Sox will be transforming Fenway Park suites into an arcade from 10am-4pm this Saturday for free. There will be a bracket-size video game tournament for kids 10 & under, 16 & under, and open ages. Compete for a chance to play against third baseman Will Middlebrooks and special prize too. In addition to this fun tournament, there will also be auditions to be the next “voice” of Red Sox nation with national anthem and PA announcer auditions. Pictures and autographs with Wally the Green Monster, carnival games, a bounce house, face-painting, a magician, and more will also be present at Fenway Park tomorrow.
Red Sox tickets also go on sale at 10 AM tomorrow, Saturday, January 26, 2013, and will be available online and at the box office at Fenway Park.
