*Every Monday throughout 2014 I will be sharing Money Savings Tips to help stick to and expand your budget!
Sometimes trading someone you don’t need to something useful is a great way to save money. If you (or your kids) have a lot of extra Halloween candy, consider a local Halloween Candy Buy Back program!
Even if you don’t save money on this tip, at least you will be saving calories and helping out local charities!
The annual Magic Beans Halloween Candy Buy Back is currently happening from November 1-5, 2014 at all Magic Beans store locations. Trade in a pound of candy or more and receive 20% off toys purchases for that day. Candy turned in will be donated to a local food pantry and military support groups.
There’s also a website entirely dedicated to helping you find a Halloween Buy Back program near you: Halloweencandybuyback.com. There’s a lot of participating dentists within 20 miles (and more) of Boston helping to buy back that Halloween candy! Pretty cool!
