When is Juneteenth 2023?

Juneteenth is the celebration of the anniversary of June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers landed in Galveston to officially tell slaves in Texas that they were free. Juneteenth is now an official federal holiday, so there’s more reason than ever to celebrate.
