The First Day of Spring is almost here. To celebrate, you can receive a few freebies on the first day of spring on Thursday, March 19, 2020 in the Greater Boston area.

Participating Dairy Queen locations will host a free cone day on Thursday, March 19 with a free small vanilla cone at participating (non-mall) locations that are already open for the season. If you live or work near the only Rita’s in the Boston Area, head to Chelsea to enjoy Rita’s Ice Annual Free Italian Ice Day. They’ve been celebrating the first day of Spring with a giveaway each year since 1992. You can receive free Italian Ice in the flavor of your choosing from noon until 9 pm on the first day of Spring, March 19th! The Italian Ice will be served in a special First Day of Spring cup!
