Free Admission at Museum of Fine Arts: Monday, January 20, 2014. The MFA is free on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day all day to all visitors.

Free Entrance Day for National Parks: Monday, January 20, 2014. All national parks have fee free entry on Monday for MLK Day. To find a National Park in Massachusetts, please head here.

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

WinterFest at Lansdowne Pub: Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 12-4pm at 9 Lansdowne Street. Celebrate the winter season with live music, giveaways, and $1 oysters. No cover. This is actually next Sunday, January 26, 2014! Thanks Eric!

Kids Free Winter Weekends at Old Sturbridge Village: Every weekend through March, 2014, head west to visit the Old Sturbridge Village where kids get in free!
