Boston Calling

Boston Calling

The lineup for the 2020 Boston Calling music festival has been announced, and this year looks to be one of the biggest and best yet featuring some of the most epic and legendary acts in the music industry. Have you gotten your tickets yet?

Boston Calling takes place each year at the Harvard Athletic Complex over Memorial Day weekend. The festival first debuted in 2013 and has since become an annual Boston tradition, boasting such past performers as Eminem, Beck, Modest Mouse, Kendrick Lamar, and My Morning Jacket.

The festival has now grown to span across four outdoor stages and an indoor arena and includes thirty food vendors, a wide selection of beer, wine, and other beverages from Boston and around the world, art installations, games, and more. There’s even a 100-foot Ferris wheel. There’s nothing quite like Boston Calling anywhere else in the world, and it’s right here in our home town each year.

The lineup for Boston Calling 2020 looks to be one of the biggest ever, featuring three of the most recognized names in rock and roll as each day’s headliner: the always entertaining Foo Fighters on Friday;  the legendary Rage Against the Machine on Saturday, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Sunday.

Aside from the headliners, Friday will boast Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Brittany Howard, Andrew W.K., and Sharon van Etten among many more. Saturday’s highlights include Run the Jewels, Banks, Koffee, RJD2, and Pink Sweat$, while The 1975, Liam Gallagher, Angels & Airwaves, LP, and Dinosaur Jr. will close out the festival on Sunday among other all-star acts.

Boston Calling will be held May 22-24 at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts. It’s sure to be one of the best things to do in Boston on the weekend.

General admission tickets for all 3 days start at $400, while three-day VIP and three-day Platinum tickets range from $950 to $2,000. However, we expect single-day options will be made available, and each year, there are usually some ways to score Boston Calling discount tickets.

And don’t forget about the free weekly Boston Calling Block Party Series that will be running from May to September where you can enjoy some great live music at no cost.
