Spring break is almost here! If you’re staying in town this year and need a plan for your kids full of outdoor fun, enrichment, and activities, we’ve got you covered. Luckily we live in the DFW area that has plenty of great options for Spring Break Camps. Read more below for our list of the Best Spring Break Camps in Dallas-Fort Worth for 2021.

Fun with Animals

Fort Worth Zoo: This camp runs from March 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. They even offer before and after care to fit in with your busy work schedule. This zoo camp is perfect for your animal loving 1st-5th graders as they will get hands on experience with the animals. The camp is $85 for a single day or $300 for all five.

Benbrook Stables: This camp for ages 5 and up is all about horses. From grooming to riding to nutrition, this camp has it all! The camp runs from March 15-19, 9 am – 1 pm and is $75 a day.

Science Spring Break Camps

Robotics RescueThis robot engineering camp is perfect for your tech-loving 7-12 year old. The camp runs from March 15-18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. It is located at Keller Pointe and costs $140 for members and $196 for non-members.

Snapology Minecraft Camps: Hosted by the Colleyville Recreation Center is from March 15-19, has morning, afternoon and full day sessions for kids between the ages of 5 and 12.  In Snapology’s EPIC Minecraft®, children are going to be put to the test and challenged in games of crafting and creating. Half day camp is $164, full day is $300.

Sports Camps in Dallas-Fort Worth

Cricket Camp by Lords Cricket Academy: This camp as an introduction to the game of cricket. With instruction from professional coaches, the camp focuses on learning the basics of batting, bowling, and fielding for all skill levels. Equipment provided. March 8-11, 9 am – 12 noon, ages 9-17. Prices range from $240-$260.

Kids Rock Climbing Camp by Canyons: Children 7-14 can learn the basics of rock climbing from 9 am – 1 pm, March 8 – 11. Rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and will be a provisional sport in the next Olympics! Climbing equipment provided. $40 per day for residents of Frisco; $50 for non-residents.

Skateboarding Camp by Skyhawks Sports: Skateboard instruction at this camp for 6-12 year olds emphasizes balance, pushing the board, kick turns, maneuvering, and manuals. March 8 – 11, 9 am – 11 am. $100 per day for residents of Frisco; $110 for non-residents.

Track & Field Camp by Runner2Runner: Certified instructors develop skills of young athletes aged 6-14 in track and field in a fun and engaging environment. The camp will cover breathing mechanics, running etiquette, dynamic drills, and nutrition. March 8 – 11, 9 am – 12 noon. $165 per day for residents of Frisco; $175 for non-residents.

World Olympic Gymnastics Academy:  WOGA is offering two locations for your future Olympian in Frisco and Plano. This camp is for ages 3 and up and runs from March 8-12. This world-class camp is only $40-50 a day! Siblings get 10% off!

FC Dallas: Participants of this camp will receive coaching from real FC Dallas soccer coaches! Aimed at fundamentals, this camp is for ages 6-9 and runs from March 8-11. The whole week costs $160.

Bowmen Dodge Ball Camp: This camp put on by Flower Mound Parks and Recreation is a great fit for any active child ages 6-13. The camp runs from March 15-18 and only costs $85 for members and $94 for nonmembers.

YMCA: With locations across the Metroplex, The Y is a great place for fun and convenient sports camps for 5-12 year olds. Camp dates and prices vary depending on YMCA locations.

Chamberlain Studios Ninja Camp: This camp is the perfect fit for any karate kid ages 4 and up. This camp runs from March 15-19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended care available. Ninja camp costs $85 a day or $349 for the whole week.


Arts & More

Robert Garden Art Camp – City of Frisco: From March 8-11, 5-14 year old children can learn realistic painting, brush loading perspective, color theory and drawing using watercolors, acrylics, charcoals, oil pastels while completing 8 amazing landscapes, seascapes, animals and still lifes. All art supplies provided. $75 per day.

Spring Break Explorer’s Camp: Flower Mound Parks & Recreation hosts this camp that includes field trips, arts & crafts, playing games and meeting new friends! March 15-19, 7 am – 6 pm. $162 for members, $180 for non-members. There’s a sibling discount, too!

Young Chef’s Academy: This tasty camp is for aspiring chefs ages 7-14. Participants will learn the ins and outs of cooking from fundamentals to baking. The camp runs from March 15-18 from 12 pm – 3 pm and costs $225 for the week.

Spring Break Art Camp at the Flower Mound CAC: Young artists (5-14) will create 8 masterpiece paintings and drawings using 4 different mediums: acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and oil pastels. March 15-18 from 9 am – 11:45 am, the camp is $67 for non-members and $60 for members with a $60 equipment fee. 

Theater Arlington: This camp is for your 6-14 year old that was born for the stage. Participants will rehearse and put on a production of The Granny Awards at the end of the camp that lasts from March 15-19. The camp costs $275 for the week with a $50 deposit due at registration.

Studio Art House: This Southlake art house offers half day camps that range from painting to sculpting activities that are perfect for your artsy 5-13 year old. The camps are from March 15-19 and cost $45 each day.

Quiggely’s Clayhouse: With a variety of pottery projects from spinning and painting to glass work, this camp is a great fit for any kid 5 and up who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. This camp is offered March 9-12 and 16-19. It is only $45 per day or $165 for 4 days.
