Jack and the Beanstalk – The Artisan Center Theater in Hurst will put on a performance of “Jack and the Beanstalk” at 10 a.m. Tickets are just $5. To buy online, visit https://www.artisanct.com.
Astronomy Day – the UTA Planetarium will host this free educational event, which includes hands on activities for kids, demos, giveaways, and discounted Planetarium shows. It’s from 2-10 p.m. at the planetarium, which is at 700 Planetarium Drive in Arlington.
Storytime at Barnes & Noble – the Hulen Center location will hold Super Saturday storytime at 11 a.m. Address: 4801 Overton Ridge Blvd. At 1 p.m., the location near North East Mall in Hurst will have a “Picture Puzzle” storytime.

Music Together – Music Together Dallas,a parent-and-child music center, is opening a new location at 17404 Hillcrest Rd, and to celebrate, they’re having an open house from 2-4 p.m. Dance along to kids’ bands, win giveaways and get coupons for classes.
Free Pillowcase at Rangers Game – go to the Texas Rangers’ game against the Chicago Cubs at 1:05 p.m.; the first 8,500 kids (13 and under) through the door get a free Rangers pillowcase. Kids can also get Dreyer’s ice cream for $1 at this game.
