planet fitness teen challenge dfw

As the outdoor temps continue to soar, indoor activities become even more inviting. As a teenager who likes to stay in shape, it can be hard to find cheap places to lift weights once school ends. Teenagers can solve both of these summertime hurdles with Planet Fitness’ Teen Summer Challenge.

In an effort to promote healthy habits, Planet Fitness is allowing all teens ages 15-18 to work out for free through September 1 — it’s one of the most healthy things to do in Dallas-Fort Worth this summer!

In a survey conducted by Planet Fitness, 91% of teens said they want to stay active over the break. But, this can pose problems for many who don’t want to spend a fortune on gym memberships and no longer have access to free school gyms. That’s why Planet Fitness started the Teen Summer Challenge! Head to your nearest location and sign up for this amazing program before the summer ends.

What do you get out of this free program? Don’t pay a penny for access to numerous cardio machines including treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals as well as free weights, weight training equipment, and high-quality devices. Teens can also enjoy free training group classes that feature small ratios and personalized exercises. Not sure how to use the equipment? A certified trainer will walk you around the entire facility and help you understand how to use each and every piece so you can have confidence using them alone.

To register, go to a Planet Fitness location of your choosing and bring a parent or guardian, for those under the age of 18. Participants already 18 years old don’t need a parent or guardian present for registration. Everyone (15-18 years old) will be able to work out on their own with supervision after registration. Once you have selected a location, you will not be able to work out for free through September 1 at any other Planet Fitness gym, so choose wisely!
