Rush Tribute Project

Traders Village is hosting a free concert by one of the nation’s best tribute acts sure to please any classic rock fan. The Rush Tribute Project will perform Saturday, April 13 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm under the Big Red Patio at Traders Village in Grand Prairie. The event is completely FREE to attend and parking at Traders Village is always just $4.

The Rush Tribute Project painstakingly recreates the sound and look of Rush, one of the most legendary bands in rock and roll. Using the same vintage instruments and equipment as Rush, the Rush Tribute Project is able to put together a live show that could easily fool even the most discerning Rush fan. Their repertoire spans all forty years of Rush’s epic career and includes both the big hits made famous by classic rock radio and the deep cuts only the hardcore Rush fans will know.

Rush hit the Canadian rock scene with the release of their 1974 self-titled album and forever changed the sound of rock n roll. Blending guitar-driven blues rock with synthesizers and wrapping it all up in lyrics featuring themes from science fiction and fantasy literature, the band struck a chord with music fans looking for a more cerebral type of rock. Throughout their career, Rush has been awarded 24 gold, 14 platinum, and 3 multi-platinum albums and has been inducted into both the Canadian Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the American Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

To honor this legendary group, the Rush Tribute Project has perfected every little detail of a live Rush performance, even taking the time to dress like the trio. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Rush or just know their big hits, this is one free concert you don’t want to miss.

While you’re at Traders Village listening to the show, be sure to stroll around the 160+ acres of open-air shopping and amusement park-style rides Traders Village is known for. Admission is always free, and parking is always just $4.
