Late-Night Thriller Film at The ModernCome to the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on Friday, March 6 at 10 p.m. for a screening of The Howling. This is a horror film from 1981. Here’s the description:

TV newscaster Karen White (Dee Wallace) brashly interjects herself in the middle of a search for a serial killer, but in the process finds something much more sinister in Joe Dante’s werewolf thriller The Howling. Adapted by John Sayles for the screen from a novel by Gary Brandner, this continuation of Dante’s interest in the sinister, self-reflexive, and seedy is as amusing as it is disturbing.

Cocktails and dinner will be available at Cafe Modern before the film, if you want to make a night of it. Admission is $7. To purchase tickets in advance, visit the Lone Star Film Society webpage.

The Modern is at 3200 Darnell St. in Fort Worth.
