Hot enough for you? Cool off at the Kimbell Art Museum this Sunday, July 17 from 12-3 p.m., when they’ll hold their Ice Cream Sunday event, in partnership with Blue Bell Ice Cream. Come inside the (air-conditioned) museum, explore their permanent collection for free, and get a free scoop of Blue Bell ice cream!
Docent-guided tours for families and screenings of the children’s films “Dropping in on Picasso” and “Getting to Know Michelangelo” will be ongoing throughout the event.
To commemorate National Ice Cream Day, Blue Bell will debut their newest ice cream flavor, Dessert Trio, at the Museum. Dessert Trio is a smooth vanilla ice cream loaded with pieces of three popular desserts––chocolate chip cookies, pecan brownies, and chocolate-coated cake––all surrounded by a swirl of rich chocolate sauce.
