Half-Price Dog Adoptions in Fort Worth

The city of Fort Worth just announced that it’s cutting the adoption fees for large-breed dogs by 50 percent from March 5 through 19. If you’ve been looking for a dog, this might be the perfect opportunity to save a little cash. The discounted fee is $24.50, plus you get a $10 PetSmart gift card.

Look for your new forever friend at the Chuck Silcox Animal Center (4900 Martin St.) or the PetSmart Adoption Center (4800 SW Loop 820). The shelter’s adoption center is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The shelter is closed on Sundays. The PetSmart adoption center is open seven days a week during the store’s normal business hours.
