Half Off Beer & Wine FestThe North Texas Beer and Wine Festival isn’t until May 11, but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan ahead. Today, you can head over to LivingSocial and pick up a deal: $23 for a ticket to the North Texas Beer and Wine Festival. This event, which takes place at the Irving Convention Center, brings together breweries and winemakers from all over the region so you can taste their wares. Your ticket package includes one admission, plus a t-shirt, hat and koozie, for a total value of $48. This is a 52 percent savings. Unfortunately, beer and wine aren’t included in the price, so bring a little extra cash for sampling ($10 gets you 12 beer or 8 wine samples). You’ll also be able to check out seminars on home brewing, grab a snack from a gourmet food vendors, and check out live music from bluesman Brian “Hash Brown” Calway and others in the open air beer garden.

This event is for visitors 21 and older. The event is from 2-7 p.m. The Irving Convention Center is at 500 Las Colinas Blvd. West in Irving.
