Get Ready For MayfestOne of Fort Worth’s most popular spring festivals, Mayfest, takes place this week – May 5 through 8 – in Trinity Park. There’s something for almost everyone at this event. Seven stages of live music and entertainment are featured, as well as shopping, food booths, games, and more. Feel free to bring the kids along to this one –over 20 free children’s activities will be available at the Tom Thumb Children’s Area, including a “dinosaur dig,” crafts, Radio Disney attractions and more.

Hours for the festival are 3:30 to 10 p.m. on May 5 and 6; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 7; and Sunday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for kids 5 and under. However, the following ticket discounts are available:

Senior Discount – all people aged 60+ receive free admission to Mayfest on Thursday, May 5.
BOGO Discount – receive one adult ticket free when you buy an adult ticket online beginning at noon on Saturday, May 7 using the promo code MOTHER.
Military Appreciation Day –
all active, reserve and retired military personnel receive free admission on Sunday, May 8 plus 3 free additional tickets with proper military ID.
