Fun Event: PUBlic Knowledge at Ginger ManLike beer? Interested in learning new things? Then you’ll appreciate PUBlic Knowledge, a new, free event from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The first-ever PUBlic Knowledge will take place Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the Ginger Man in Fort Worth. You can enjoy a frosty beer (or other drink of your choice) while hearing an informal presentation from a knowledgeable expert, in a variety of subject areas. This first installment will be led by Aaron Pan, the museum’s curator of science. The name of his presentation will be “Lions, No Tigers, No Bears: Flora and Fauna of Africa.”

According to the museum, you shouldn’t expect a “one-sided presentation from a lofty, oak-clad podium.” Instead, the event will be an informal chat, where participants are free to ask questions and give information.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Because of the bar-type atmosphere, you should be at least 21 years old. The Ginger Man is at 3716 Camp Bowie Blvd.
