If you missed the Tarrant County Back-to-School Roundup on Aug. 8 – but still are in need of school supplies for your kids – make plans to attend the Gear Up 4 School event sponsored by Unity One Credit Union. On Saturday, Aug. 25, come by their Northside branch (2625 N. Main St.) from 9-11 a.m. and pick up free school supplies. There will also be a bounce house, free food, music and lots of other fun activities. Free items are first come, first served, so make plans to get there early.
