This Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, get outside and have some fun at Greenbriar Great Outdoors. This two-day event is billed as “two days of outdoor discover and family fun.” All events take place at the Greenbriar Community Center. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, April 8, 8-10 p.m.: Bring the family for a movie in the park and a fireworks show.
Saturday, April 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Try out a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, hunter education, angler education, archery, climbing geocaching and mountain biking.
Admission to the event is free, but parking is $5 per car.
Greenbriar Community Center is at 5200 Hemphill St.
