On Saturday, April 6, stop by Southlake Town Square from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Green Fest, Southlake’s annual eco-friendly festival. The free event will feature various ways residents can invest in a sustainable future, improve daily living and save money by “going green.” There will be a full schedule of live entertainment and booths from eco-friendly vendors. Students K-6 can bring in juice pouches (Capri Sun or the like) to donate for recycling – for every 10 pouches brought in, kids will receive one entry into a drawing for an Apple iPad! A scavenger hunt for kids will also take place – those that complete it get another chance to win an iPad.
