Free Family Fun at TCC PROUD CelebrationOn Saturday, Aug. 1, Panther Island Pavilion will host TCC PROUD: Celebrating 50 Years, a fun family-friendly festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tarrant County College. Festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include:

Doing-Up the Decades: must-see performances from each of TCC’s five campuses
The Education Try-Way: exhibits and experiences showcasing TCC’s cutting-edge programs
You Were Here: a time-capsule awaiting your photo contribution
Vida Van Sampling Team: Dr Pepper’s very own brand ambassadors, hosting Pepper Pong and four flavors to savor
The Texas Rangers’ Captain: bringing promotional goodies and photo opps galore
The Fort Worth Vaqueros: presenting soccer skills, demos and lessons, plus free game tickets
Toro: TCC’s lovable mascot who’s bullish on future
Kids’ Zone: balloon artist, face painting and treats, OH MY!
Hot dogs, chips and desserts
