On Saturday, June 16, come out to the banks of the Trinity River for the Solar Powered Music Fest, a free live-music event powered entirely by the sun! Headliners include English Beat, the Romantics, and the Whiskey Folk Ramblers. The doors open at 2 p.m. and music begins at 3:15 p.m.
Though admission to the festival is free, the event is also raising money for DFW Pug Rescue, so you may want to bring a few bucks to donate to them. Or for $35, you can purchase a Pug Pass, which gets you 2 free beers from Rahr Brewing plus access to their backstage lounge.
