On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Fort Worth Thunderbirds will host National Model Aviation Day at Thunderbird Field from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free! Come learn all about flying radio-controlled model airplanes, see demonstrations, try your hand at flying yourself, and learn about the history of model aviation. Lunch will be sold to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
Thunderbird Field is at 4300 Winscott Plover Rd in Fort Worth.
