Celebrate the migration of the Monarch Butterfly this weekend in Grapevine at the Butterfly Flutterby. At this free, kid-friendly event, there will be plenty of fun. In the morning, butterfly-costumed kids and pets can take part in a parade down Grapevine’s Main Street, ending at the Train Depot. Three separate live-butterfly releases will also take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Plus, you can enjoy educational butterfly exhibits, participate in butterfly-themed arts and crafts, shop vendors and more.
If you wish to participate in the parade, registration will take place at 8:45 a.m. at the corner of Wall and Jenkins streets. Parade lineup will begin at 9:30 a.m.
