Tomorrow, Saturday Oct. 4, is the first Saturday of the month, which means it’s time for fun at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas! Come to BRIT from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for their free First Saturday family events. The theme for this month is Fall Harvest. Activities include public tours of the BRIT grounds, exhibits and more. Visitors can also explore BRIT’s pocket prairie, geology wall, braided gardens, and wetland area.
In addition, there will be a farmer’s market at BRIT from 8 a.m. to noon., and food truck vendors – this month features the very trendy Steel City Pops.
BRIT is at 1700 University Dr. in Fort Worth.
