Who’s ready for free music? Come out tonight (Aug. 5) at 7 p.m. for First Friday on the Green, a monthly free concert series on Fort Worth’s Southside. You’ll find the concert at the 1100 block of Lipscomb, between Rosedale and Magnolia Streets. Tonight’s performers are Tim Halperin and Soul Track Mind. Bring blankets or chairs to sit on, and bring an appetite – food by Chadra Mezza Grill and Central Market will be available for purchase. (No outside food or drink is allowed.) If you’re feeling charitable, bring some school supplies, too – the Southside Church of Christ will be collecting them for kids in need.
