Come out to North East Mall in Hurst on Saturday, Oct. 6 for their Kids Fit event. This is a free, family-oriented fitness expo that takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the mall’s Center Court. The event will showcase many local fitness programs and schools offering free mini fitness classes and demonstrations. Other specials during the event include prize giveaways, fitness trivia and healthy snacks to sample. Members of Celebrity Sweat will be present to show parents fun ways to keep children fit and active. In between workouts, children can enjoy playing interactive games from Xbox and GameStop, and surprises from NFL Play60.
