Dallas International School Summer Enrichment Camp

The Dallas International School’s Language Institute offers six-week Summer Enrichment Camps designed to offer children the chance to explore new possibilities and skills in a caring and safe environment. Campers are placed into small activity groups of only 10 or 12 campers based on their age and skill levels. All camps feature an average child/adult ratio of 6:1, allowing every camper to benefit from a nurturing family-like atmosphere offering individualized attention.

DIS Summer Enrichment Camps offer activities and learning opportunities in a wide range of subjects including the arts, sports, English as a Second Language (ESL), technology, language immersion, academic skills, and social skills.

Campers can register for half-day sessions or full-day sessions which combine any of the languages or activities offered with a minimum requirement of three weeks out of the six-week session. There is no minimum level of fluency or ability required for any of the language classes.

For parents who have to work throughout the summer, the DIS Summer Enrichment Camps even offer an option for 7:30 am drop off and pick up as late as 6:00 pm. During these extended hours, children can either sign up for additional activities or have free play in the extended care area under adult supervision. All campers enrolled in full-day programs get a camp-provided lunch at no additional cost, and the DIS Summer Enrichment Camp campus is nut-sensitive and peanut-free.

DIS Summer Enrichment Camps are offered at two campuses. Campers aged 3 to 17 will attend the Churchill Campus at 6039 Churchill Way, Dallas, Texas 75230; while campers between the ages of 11 and 17 will attend the Waterview Campus located at 17811 Waterview Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75252.
