The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education & Tolerance was founded in 1984 by 125 Jewish Holocaust survivors in the North Texas area. The museum aims to advance human rights by combating prejudice, hatred, and difference through educating visitors about the dangers of what can happen when we let these sentiments flourish.

Today, the museum welcomes over 80,000 visitors a year including tens of thousands of schoolchildren. The museum is rated one of the top attractions in North Texas and has been recognized for its innovative and compelling exhibits and programming. The Dallas Holocaust Museum hosts world-class speakers and international touring exhibits and preserves a rich library of archival materials available to museum members. 2. Students Can Get Discount Tickets

The Dallas Holocaust Museum is not recommended for children under 11 years old due to the sensitive and difficult nature of some of the museum’s exhibits and materials. Students 12 years old and up can take advantage of Dallas Holocaust Museum discount tickets for just $8.

3. Discounts Are Also Available For Seniors and Military

If you are 65 or older or currently serve in the Armed Forces, you can get discount tickets for just $8 by presenting a valid ID. Visitors with disabilities are also eligible for $8 admission.

4. Group Discounts

School groups of 15 people or more including college students can receive discounted admission of just $5 per person. Non-school groups of 15 people or more can also enjoy discount tickets of $7 per person.

The Dallas Holocaust Museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. — 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.

 

Dallas Holocaust Museum Location & Parking

The Dallas Holocaust Museum is located at 211 North Record Street, Suite 100, Dallas Texas, 75202. Parking is available across from the museum at the corner of Houston and Elm streets, or at an underground parking garage a block away from the museum at the corner of Record and Elm Streets. If you prefer public transportation, the West End Station of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system is also only one block from the museum’s front entrance.
