Butterfly Festival in SouthlakeThis weekend, come out to the Southlake Town Square pavilion for the Kiwanis Butterfly Festival, a fun event to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and other charities. At the festival, you can learn about butterflies from local experts, participate in a silent auction, and other activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a 600 square foot landscaped mesh tent populated with hundreds of Texas butterflies.

The festival runs from today (Sept 9) through Sunday, Sept. 11. At 5 p.m. on Sunday, the butterflies will be released. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids. Kids under 3 get in free. The first 100 kids to arrive each day will receive a coupon for a free kids’ meal at the Chick-fil-A in Southlake. For complete info, see the event site here.
