I’m from Alabama, and I was heartbroken to see that a large tornado devastated the town of Tuscaloosa yesterday, where I lived for five years. Over 200 people have died and scores more are injured across the South. If you want to help, stop by Young Chefs Academy in Fort Worth on Sunday, May 1 from noon to 4:30 p.m. Families can come by and bake a batch of cookies, plus drop off a $10 cash donation. Both the cookies and the donations will be sent to help tornado victims. (Don’t worry, you will get to sample the cookies too!)
If you plan to attend, you can call the Academy at 817-989-2433 to let them know you’re coming, but it’s not a requirement.
