Free Kids' Craft Workshops This WeekendTake the kids out for some fun, free crafting events! Here’s what’s going on:

Lowes – Bring the kids to your local Lowes on Dec. 4 from 10-11 a.m. and have them make a free wooden train caboose. This project is part of a series – bring them back on Dec. 11 to make the passenger car that goes with the caboose. These are popular workshops, so RSVPs are requested; go here to do so.

Home Depot – From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Dec. 4, kids can make a handpainted holiday picture frame at their local store. These workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12.

Michaels – Michaels craft stores are having a couple of events on Dec. 4. From 10-11 a.m., it’s a free Finger Knit Scarf project, and then from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., kids can make a Christmas ornament. Come back on Dec. 5 from 1-2 p.m. to make a free Duck Tape luggage tag, or stop by from 2-3 p.m. to make another tree ornament.

Bass Pro Shops – stop by the Grapevine location for Santa photos and crafts throughout the weekend; see the full schedule here.
