$49 for Airfare & Hotel in Las VegasBuyWithMe Dallas has an interesting deal out today: $49 for a three-day, two night Las Vegas vacation for two, including round-trip hotel, airfare and a casino coupon book. Well, at least that’s what they say. In truth, you’ll pay a little more than that. Here’s the fine print:

You will get round trip airfare from DFW to Las Vegas and two nights at a 3-star or better hotel. (They don’t say which one, only that they’ll be in the 89109 or 89101 zip codes. I wouldn’t expect to stay at the Bellagio or anything.) A nonrefundable deposit of $65 is required. Postage fees of $9.95 are required to send you the casino coupon book. Call to schedule your trip at least 90 days in advance. Airfare, hotel and airport taxes, which can range from $55 to $150, are not included. You’re on your own for meals or entertainment. Must be 21 years old.

So, rather than think of this as a $49 Vegas vacation, consider it a big discount on hotels and airfare. It sounds like you will pay a maximum of $274 for the hotel, airline ticket and coupon book, with all fees included. That’s pretty good! Last time I went to Las Vegas, it was $400 for each plane ticket alone. You can buy up to 2 of these deals if you want to take along a pal.
