It’s back! This weekend, Nov. 15 and 16, is the Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience – a semi-annual extravaganza featuring lots of handmade items from local vendors. Over 100 artists, designers, craft-makers and food-makers will be on hand to help you get your holiday shopping list completed. The market takes place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, and admission is free. Kids and pets are welcome to attend.
In between your shopping excursions, there will be other fun things to do, too – for a $5 donation to the Humane Society of North Texas and Toys for Tots, you can get a photo with Santa (pets can participate). There will also be pet adoptions, a Toys for Tots drop box, and raffles. The first 75 people through the door each day, who purchase $10 in raffle tickets, will also receive swag bags featuring goodies from some of the vendors. Here’s an example of past swag bag contents.
