Get free admission to many museums in DFW and beyond on Saturday, Sept. 24 as part of Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day. You may notice that for many museums, this promotion overlaps with the free admissions that are part of Fort Worth’s Day in the District, held on the same day. If you would like to visit a participating museum that is not on the Day in the District list (see it here), then you will need a ticket, which you can download for free on the Smithsonian website. See a list of all Texas museums here and select one to print your tickets. These venues include:
- Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford
- Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas
- Irving Arts Center
- National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum in FW
- Texas Civil War Museum in Fort Worth
