Kids Obstacle Challenge

One of the best parts of childhood is getting muddy, dirty, and messy outside. It’s a shame that as we grow up we forget the pleasures of digging our hands into the mud and feeling the Earth under our fingers. Luckily for Dallas and Fort Worth kids, Village Creek MX Park in Fort Worth is hosting the Subaru Kids Obstacle Challenge to give kids the chance to have a down-and-dirty good time on a 1.5 to 2-mile obstacle course. If you know a kid who would love to have fun traversing obstacles in the mud, we’ve got an exclusive 25% off discount for you.

The Kids Obstacle Challenge offers kids the chance to find what they’re made of. The obstacle course spans between 1.5 and 2 miles and challenges kids to climb rock walls, army crawl through mud-filled pits, swing over water obstacles on ropes, climb tall cargo nets, dodge cannonballs, and more. Kids between 5 and 16 can take part with or without their parents, and two parents or legal guardians can run for free with each registered child. All racers take home a medal and a goodie bag, there will be Clif bars for the whole family, and free event photos will be taken.

Tickets to the Kids Obstacle Challenge start at $52, but DFWOTC readers can score them for just $39 through Goldstar.com. All it takes is a Facebook account or email address to register for a free Goldstar membership, and you can start taking advantage of exclusive deals like this one on the best events in the DFW area.

The Kids Obstacle Challenge will be held throughout the day on May 18, 2019. Race times will be given upon registration. The obstacle course will be set up at Village Creek MX Park, 4840 Shelby Road, Fort Worth, TX 76140.
