If you’re a veteran or active military, you can eat for free at several DFW-area restaurants on Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11). First, Applebee’s restaurants are offering a free entree from their Veteran’s Day menu, which includes 7 different entrees. Just show proof of your military service (this could include military ID, a photo of yourself in uniform, an earnings statement, a VFW card and so on).
Then, Chili’s will offer a free meal to veterans and active military on Nov. 11. Pick from one of 6 entrees on this menu. Bring your military ID for proof.
Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion and nonalcoholic beverage to veterans and active military with ID on Nov. 11.
Humperdink’s will give 25% off food to all veterans and servicepeople on Nov. 11 who are either wearing their uniform or who show military/veteran’s ID.
III Forks – Veterans and active military can come to III Forks in Dallas and get a free entree when they show ID. Limit $25 value. See details here.
Mimi’s Cafe – Bring this coupon into any Mimi’s Cafe and receive a free entree (up to $10 off when you spend $20). Show proof of military service.
Twin Peaks – free entree for servicemen and women either in uniform or with military ID. Police and fire personnel are included in this offer too.
Finally, Uno Chicago Grill in Sundance Square is offering a free entree or pizza when you buy an entree on Nov. 11 if you’re a current or former member of the military. Bring your military or veteran’s ID.
Even if you’re not a veteran, you can help them out by dining at Uno Chicago Grill from Nov. 12 to Nov. 25. Bring in this voucher and 20 percent of your check will be donated to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, a nonprofit that helps out injured service members.
