The Texas Scottish Festival is back! This year’s fest runs from June 3-5 at Maverick Stadium in Arlington. Get ready for a fun-filled day of Scottish-centric activities, including Highland Dancing competitions, a Scottish Fiddle workshop, genealogy and history seminars, Celtic art and more. Plus, there will be live music, a wide variety of food for purchase (including haggis!), ales to drink, craft tents and more.

Kids can enjoy themselves at the festival, too – from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, the Children’s Tent will feature Celtic designs to color, a “haggis toss,” and beading. At 2 p.m. each day, there will be field games like three-legged races – all participants get a goodie bag and ribbon.

Tickets for adults are cheapest on Friday night and Sunday, when a 1-day pass is $10; on Saturday, the single-day passes are $15. Teens are $8 and kids under 13 are $5. There are also ticket packages that include admission to bonus events; see all your options here.
