Passport to Imagination Activities at Michaels

Come to your local Michaels craft store throughout the summer for  Passport to Imagination activities. Each fun activity, geared for ages 3 and up, focuses on a specific country or region and features a craft, as well as information about the animals that live in that area. Each activity is from 1-4 p.m. Most activities are free, but some do require a purchase (noted here). The schedule for the rest of the summer is as follows:

• June 23 – Poland – Polish Flag and Terra Cotta Lynx (purchase of lynx required)
• June 26 – China – Fortune Cookie and Panda Foam Can Hug (purchase of can holder required)
• June 28 – Madagascar – Madagascar Flag and Rain Stick
• June 30 – Canada – Maple Leaf and Moose Crossing Frame (must purchase frame)
• July 3 – United States – U.S. Flag and Barn Owl Door Hanger
• July 5 – Kenya – Kenyan Flag and Lion Pin
• July 7 – North Pole – Clothespin and Penguin Foam Visor (must buy visor)
• July 10 – Thailand – Thai Flag and Elephant Necklace
• July 12 – Russia – Russian Flag and Pom Pom Bear
• July 14 – Japan – Japanese Flag and Koi Fish Kite
• July 17 – Egypt – Hieroglyphics Button and Egyptian Cat Portrait
• July 19 – Spain – Fan and Terra Cotta Bull (must buy bull)
• July 24 – Brazil – Palm Tree Card and Bird Mask (must buy mask)
• July 26 – Morocco – Moroccan Flag and Flamingo Keychain
• July 28 – India – Foam Lotus Flower and Snake and Coil Pot
