Tired of the mass of cars that is Dallas-Fort Worth? Then come out to Fort Worth’s Southside this Sunday, Oct. 28 for Open Streets, a semi-annual, car-free event for the whole family. Park your car and walk, bike or skateboard along the roadways of Near Southside and let the kids roam free, with no danger of any cars or traffic. While you’re there, you can enjoy a variety of activities, including;
- Basketball
- Skate park
- Obstacle course
- Face painting
- Chalk art
- Dog adoption
Be sure to bring money to buy food from the numerous food trucks that will be on site to cater to hungry visitors. Some of the trucks scheduled to appear include: Salsa Limon, Gepetto’s Pizza, Sassy Hot Dogs and Holy Frijole.
