This Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-2, Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine will host a free Hometown Festival in their store from noon to 5 p.m. There will be a variety of activities for both kids and adults. The planned schedule is as follows:
- Free hot dogs from 1-3 p.m.
- Leaf Craft for kids from 1-4 p.m.
- Fashion Show at 2 and 4 p.m.
- Food samples during the event
- Kids activities during the festival: Net-A-Fish pond game, Metal Detector Treasure Hunt, and more
- Seminar: “Smokin’ & Grillin’ Techniques” on Saturday at 1 p.m.
- Seminar: “Power vs. Finesse Fishing – Tackle and Tactics” on Saturday at 3 p.m.
- Seminar: “Dutch Oven Cooking Techniques” on Sunday at 1 p.m.
- Seminar: “Smokin’ & Grillin’ Techniques” on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Bass Pro Shops is at 2501 Bass Pro Dr. in Grapevine.
