The weather is cooling off – this weekend is the perfect time to attend Sunset Winery’s Harvest Festival, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. This is a family-friendly festival. For $10 per person admission, you’ll have access to a whole host of fun, including a grape stomp, an “I Love Lucy” lookalike contest, live music, a Halloween costume contest and more. Your cover also gets you hot dogs, cole slaw, chips, popcorn and popsicles. The kids will enjoy games of horseshoes, balloon animals, and a sand pile.
Wines from Sunset Winery will be available for purchase during the Harvest Festival. If you plan to attend, call 817-426-1141 to let them know you’re coming, or email [email protected].
I have visited Sunset Winery before and it is really cute – the tasting room is a former residence, and they’ve got plenty of grapevines out back to check out.
Sunset Winery is at 1535 S. Burleson Blvd. in Burleson. Not too far from Fort Worth!
