I just got an interesting email from the deal site Tippr: Right now, you can get a free $5 Starbucks gift card just by signing up with and using the new coupon site TangoTab. TangoTab is a new site that hooks you up with discounts at local businesses. Once you sign up with TangoTab, you can search for coupon offers based on your location, then click to “claim” the discounts you want. The discounts are usually only available for a certain day and during certain hours. Once you claim a discount, you’ll receive an email confirmation, which you can then print out and take with you to the business. Best of all, every time you use a discount, TangoTab will feed a person in need.
As for the $5 Starbucks card deal, you’ll receive your e-gift card within 2 weeks of redeeming your first deal on TangoTab. This offer is good for TangoTab deals redeemed through Feb. 28. I did a little searching on TangoTab and found discounts/freebies for Brownstone, Patrizio, Ted E’s Burgers, Sushi Yoko and more Fort Worth-area restaurants.
