July 3
Stars & Stripes Southlake – 6 p.m. at Southlake Town Square. Live music, patriotic ceremony, crafts, balloon artists and more. Parking and Shuttle Services will be available at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church (185 S. White’s Chapel Blvd.) beginning at 4 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
July 4
Fort Worth’s Fourth – Free family-friendly celebration at Panther Island Pavilion (park at 1098 W. Peach St.). Live music, food trucks, bounce house, face painting. Begins 4;30 p.m.; fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Arlington 4th of July Parade – 9 a.m. on the eastern edge of UTA campus. See a parade route map here.
Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic – at the Fort Worth Stockyards, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Artists include Ray Wylie Hubbard, Stoney LaRue and, of course, Willie. $35 in advance, $45 at the gate.
North Richland Hills Family Fourth Fireworks Show – at 9:30 p.m. Free. Can be seen from the parking lots of The Hills / ATI Career Training Center, 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills and Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum, 6108 Broadway Avenue in Haltom City. Bring chairs, blankets and picnics (no pets).
Mansfield Rockin’ Fourth of July – From 7-10 p.m. at Big League Dreams Mansfield (500 Heritage Pkwy South). Free; live music, family activities, food for purchase and more. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. No coolers/ice chests. Free parking and shuttle service at Newsom Stadium (Hwy 360 at E. Broad St). from 6:45 to 11 p.m.
Burleson Independence Day Celebration – 5 p.m. at Chisenhall Sports Fields, 500 W. Hidden Creek Parkway. Live music, concessions for purchase; picnics allowed. Fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
White Settlement July 4 Cookout – at VFW Post 5617 (8901 Clifford St.) from noon till food runs out. Donations will benefit VFW post. Hamburgers, hot dogs, smoked chicken and pork.
Grapevine Fireworks Extravaganza – 9:30 p.m. on Lake Grapevine. Can be viewed from parks with lake access; see a list here.
Keller Fourth of July Spectacular – 2-4 p.m. at Keller Pointe Outdoor Pool (405 Rufe Snow Dr.). The afternoon will be filled with fun games, competitions, music, and lots of prizes for the little ones. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and your favorite beach towel! This celebration is free for members, but non-members will pay the regular daily fee for admittance.
4thFEST Independence Day Festival – from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Bedford at Bedford Boys Ranch Park (2801 Forest Ridge Dr.). Free; live music, free kids activities, puppet show, classic car show and more. Admission to Splash Aquatics Center for $6.50 (adults) and $5.50 (kids). Fireworks at 10 p.m. Shuttle service will be provided from 12:00PM until 9:30PM at 15 minute intervals from Pennington Field (1501 Central Drive) to the Bedford Boys Ranch Park at a cost of $4.00 per person for a round trip (3 years old and under ride FREE).
Arlington Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza – at Arlington Highlands shopping center, 7 p.m. Live music; free sno-cones from 7-9 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Flower Mound Independence Fest – Day and night events. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a kids’ parade, bounce house and other kids activities at LISD Administration Building (1800 Timber Creek Rd.). Free live music beginning at 5 p.m. at Bakersfield Park (1201 Duncan Ln.); fireworks after end of concert.
Trophy Club Fourth of July Celebration – festivities begin at 7 a.m. with a 5k run and free breakfast at Byron Nelson High School. Parade at 9:30 a.m. (see link for route); free entry to municipal pool (free corn dogs at pool from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Free evening celebration at Independence Park (501 Parkview Dr.) at 6 p.m. with kid friendly activities, live music, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Hurst Stars & Stripes – At Hurst Community Park (corner of Precinct and Pipeline) from 5-10 p.m. Inflatables for kids, free live music, fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Shuttle Service available from Northeast Mall.
MetroPCS Fair Park Fourth – 4:30 to 10 p.m. at Fair Park. Watch fireworks from inside the Cotton Bowl at 9:30 p.m. Family-friendly event also features a Dallas Wind Symphony patriotic performance, reduced admission to Fair Park’s museums from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., “dancing water” shows at the Esplanade Fountain, carnival games and more.
