Haunted houses are a fun activity for Halloween – but not when you have small children. The folks at Terrorplex Screampark in Mansfield have addressed this problem by scheduling a Family Day event for Saturday, Oct. 27, from 3-5 p.m. During this time, you can come and explore their haunted house, without scares or live actors inside the attraction. While you’re there, you and the kids can have pictures taken with members of The 501st, the world’s largest Star Wars re-enactment group. There will also be a slide/bounce house, weather permitting. Admission is only $5 per person, and money raised during the event benefits the library of Annette Perry Elementary School.
